CLASSICAL CAFÉ - INFORMAL INTRODUCTION TO THE AUTUMN SERIES 2026
As a way of introducing our Autumn Series of concerts, we put on an informal 'Classical Café' talk about the pieces to be played, as well as the performers who will play them, on 3 September 2026.
Members of the Fressingfield Sounds committee discussed the three concerts. This was followed by time to socialise and discuss the upcoming season over coffee, tea and refreshments.
The presenters:
Warren Albers is a former professional singer, having performed with many choral ensembles and in venues across the UK and Europe. His love of choral music began early, singing with a number of choirs in Edmonton, Canada.
Chris Neave started his musical life as a pianist, but subsequently sang professionally as a counter-tenor. For the last twenty-five years, he has been a singing teacher and vocal coach.
Robert Stein is a classical music critic who has written reviews of concerts, books on music and CDs for Tempo (Cambridge University Press), International Record Review and elsewhere. He was formerly the MD of The Little Orchestra, a London-based professional chamber orchestra.
