About the music
The New Zealand singer Jonathan Lemalu has devised an evening reflecting many of his great loves from operatic roles he has performed, alongside a few of his favourite songs. The Richard Rodney Bennett songs were written for him when Jonathan was a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist in 2002 - 04. Craig Utting is a composer from New Zealand and these songs were composed for and premiered by Jonathan.
